Karachi violence claims eight lives including four police personnel

At least eight people including four policemen were killed in the recent wave of violence in Karachi.

The four police personnel were killed yesterday in Korangi area of Zaman Town at a time when they were dining.

The decedents police personnels were identified as ASI Aqeel, Constables Jamil Ahmed, Akhtar and Anwaar Hussain.

The funeral prayers for the eternal peace of deceased were offered in Saudabad.

Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali visited the assault site and claimed that the killers will soon be captured.

Earlier, the federal interior ministry had formally informed Sindh and Balochistan governments on July 29 regarding the potential attack on police personnel.

In separate incidents, terrorists gunned down two people in Malir area of Bakri Peeri and Orangi Town’s Sector 11 1/5.

Another man lost life in a firing incident in Bhains Colony. Meantime, body of yet another man was recovered in the city area of New Karachi.
