The University of Karachi (KU) announced its admission schedule for 2026 on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The online application process covers various academic programs. Students can apply at www.uokadmission.edu.pk.
Dr Saima Akhtar, head of KU’s Admissions Directorate, shared the key dates. The admission advertisement will appear in newspapers on September 28. Online application forms and the prospectus will be available from September 29 to October 10.
Key test dates include:
- Visual Studies Test: October 18
- BS Programs Test (including BBA, Pharm-D, DPT, and others): October 25
Admission lists will be released as follows: Visual Studies on November 9, and BS programs on November 5.
Programs offered include four-year degrees in Fine Arts and Design, as well as five-year degrees in Architecture, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy. Other programs include Computer Science and International Relations.
Open merit admissions for BS first- and third-year programs start on October 26, with a deadline of November 7. The admission list will be published on November 16. Evening shift admissions for BS, diploma, and certificate programs begin November 16, with forms due by November 28.

The Computer Science entry test (BSCS, BSSE) is scheduled for December 7, with admission lists published on December 10. Reserved seats (morning shift) admit applications from October 26 to November 16, while self-finance/donor seats accept applications from November 5 to 17.
