Karachi rain forecast for March 25 indicates incoming showers as a new weather system enters the region, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Officials said a westerly wave will reach the city by Tuesday evening. As a result, Karachi is expected to receive sporadic rainfall starting Wednesday.
The city will experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather today. Temperatures may reach up to 33°C, while humidity levels could rise to 88%. These conditions often signal unstable weather patterns, increasing the likelihood of rain in the coming days.
The PMD forecasts that Karachi will receive rain between March 25 and March 29. The weather may include strong winds and thunderstorms during this period. Such conditions could impact daily routines and outdoor activities across the city.
Rain Expected Across Sindh Districts
Besides Karachi, several districts in Sindh are also likely to receive rainfall. These include Hyderabad, Sukkur, Dadu, Kashmore, Jacobabad, and Larkana.
The widespread impact shows the broader reach of the incoming weather system.
The PMD also confirmed that the western weather system will enter Balochistan on March 24. It is expected to intensify by the night of March 27.
Rain is likely in multiple districts, including Gwadar, Turbat, Quetta, Khuzdar, Chaman, and Zhob. This indicates a prolonged wet spell across Pakistan’s southwestern regions.
Karachi recently experienced rainfall during Eid-ul-Fitr, with thunderstorms affecting several areas. Localities such as Malir, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Karachi, and Clifton reported rain and strong winds.
Earlier this month, severe weather also caused fatalities after a powerful thunderstorm hit the city. The latest forecast raises renewed attention on weather preparedness in the region.
