Police shot dead two robbers and arrested another during encounters in different parts of Karachi.
According to details, an exchange of fire took place between the robbers and the law enforcement agencies at New Sabzi Mandi area of Karachi in which two criminals were killed.
SSP Malir Rao Anwar said that the slain criminals were involved in looting as well as in rape cases.
Meanwhile, a suspected criminal was nabbed in injured condition from Korangi area after a police encounter whereas his other accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
Police captured arms and stolen valuables from the arrested suspect.
