The Karachi police claimed they had arrested a suspect who robbed and killed Bilal Nasir, a NED University Student
The police said Nizam was taken into custody during a raid near the super highway. Initial investigation reveals that Nazim is a seasoned criminal who has been to jail more than once. The police also recovered a gun.
Bilal, 21, an engineering student of NED University Karachi, was killed on the street over a robbery resistance. Bilal tried to fight back the robbers with a chair while at a tea place near the university with his friends.
The victim was in his last year at the NED university of engineering and technology, where he studied petroleum engineering.
Officials with the police say that the robbers shot Bilal twice, once in the chest and once in the leg. There were also bullet shells at the scene of the crime.
