Karachi: At least 40 suspected people have been arrested from Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar in an overnight search operation by police.
According to sources, police cordon off all the entry and exits points and conducted targeted search operation and captured at least 40 suspected people.
The residence of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar complained that the police launch search operation every other day and the captured people are released after bargain the very next morning.
When contacted, SP Gulshan-e-Iqbal Abid Qaimkhani said the search operation was conducted on a tip-off and 40 people have been nailed so far.
He said these people will be interrogated and cases will be lodged against those who are found involved in criminal activities and those who are suspicious.
