The Karachi Police raided residence of MQM lawmaker Abdul Qadir Khanzada and detained his son Tahir Khanzada.
According to police sources, Khanzada’s house was raided late on Wednesday night of Abdul Qadir Khanzada and from a neighbor’s house arrested son.
More than 25 police personnel and two armored vehicles took part in the raid, sealed all entry and exit points, and arrested Tahir Khanzada.
Police has shifted Tahir to undisclosed location for interrogation.
The MQM lawmaker later reached his house and condemned the raid.
