Karachi Kings delivered an 87-run victory over Multan Sultans in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Gaddafi Stadium on May 1, 2025, ending the Sultans’ campaign.

Batting first, the Kings scored 204 runs for 4 wickets, led by James Vince, who remained unbeaten with 65 runs off 47 balls. Khushdil Shah contributed a quick 33 runs off just 13 balls. The opening partnership between Tim Seifert (20 runs) and David Warner (30 runs) added a brisk 50 runs in just four overs. Following some early wickets, a crucial 78-run partnership between Vince and Irfan Khan Niazi, who scored 40 runs, helped stabilise the innings.

Chasing a target of 205, the Multan Sultans collapsed to 117 in just 16.1 overs. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for a duck, and Usman Khan managed only 1 run. Kamran Ghulam was the top scorer for the Sultans with 29 runs.

The Kings’ bowlers delivered a devastating performance, with Mohammad Nabi taking three wickets and Khushdil Shah and Mir Hamza claiming two wickets each. Ubaid Shah and Curtis Campher contributed two and one wicket, respectively, for the Sultans.

The Kings’ dominant display highlighted their depth, while the Sultans struggled to recover from their early losses.
