Karachi Traffic Police have launched a diversion strategy for the Youm-e-Ali (R.A) procession starting at 4 pm. It will begin at Tibet Centre and end at Soldier Bazar, closing several key roads.

MA Jinnah Road will be closed from Tibet Centre to Guru Mandir, affecting adjacent streets. Shahrah-e-Qaideen will close from the Khudadad signal, but the bridge to Saddar remains open.

The police have announced a traffic plan for Youm-e-Wiladat Hazrat Ali (RA) procession in Karachi, which will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

Bahadur Yar Jang Road drivers towards the Tower should choose alternative routes via Soldier Bazar No 1 Signal, Coast Guard, and Anklesaria Hospital Signal. Those from Shahrah-e-Qaideen to Naumaish Chowrangi or MA Jinnah Road must divert through Ayesha Aziz Chowrangi to PP Chowrangi. Travellers from Society Light Signal should use the route from Khudadad Colony Bridge to Empress Market.

For journeys from Fresco to Naumaish Chowrangi, use the Eidgah Chowk route via Jubilee and Nishtar Road or Tibet Centre to Regal Chowk. Traffic from Fawara Chowk to Garden Nishtar Road should head towards Abdullah Haroon Road.

From Paradise Signal, drivers can turn left to the Passport Office or Empress Market. For travel from Garden Baghicha to Aga Khan III road, the route through Anklesaria to Gul Plaza and Tibet Chowk is recommended.
