Karachi: The megacity of Karachi continued to bear brunts of heatwave which killed 15 more affectees in last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1145 in nine days.
The deaths were reported in different hospitals of Karachi where medics said that 15 people who were under treatment in hospitals breathed their last today.
Doctors said more than 2500 patients were still getting treatment in Karachi.
Over 300 unidentified victims of the punishing heatwave were buried by the Edhi Foundation by Saturday evening
The Meteorological Department has forecast mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country, with chances of rain and gusty winds in parts of KPK, Punjab, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
