Residents reported Karachi Earthquake Tremors Felt In Landhi and nearby areas around midnight between Friday and Saturday, on 14 March 2026, with multiple neighbourhoods in Landhi and Korangi noticing the shaking.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter scale and struck at a depth of 10 kilometres. Officials recorded the tremor at 1:27 am.
Officials said the earthquake’s epicentre was offshore, around 100 kilometres south of Karachi.

Residents reported tremors in Landhi No. 2 and Landhi No. 4, as well as around Babar Market in Landhi. People in Korangi No. 6 also said they felt the quake. The PMD reported a magnitude of 4.0 and a depth of 10km, with the event logged at 1:27 am.
Officials linked the shaking in Karachi to the offshore epicentre south of the city.
