The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s pre-monsoon advisory indicated that moist air currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are expected to trigger rainfall from June 21 to June 23. This weather may bring dust storms and thunderstorms, with the potential for heavy rainfall in areas such as Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, and Islamabad. There is also a risk of urban flooding in Lahore and Rawalpindi, which could damage vulnerable structures like electric poles. Farmers are advised to adjust their crop activities following this forecast.
