Kanye West faces serious allegations following a lawsuit filed by former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant, Jennifer An, who accuses him of physical and sexual assault during a 2010 incident in New York City.
An claims West selected her for his involvement in the “In for the Kill” music video by La Roux because she was wearing lingerie. She alleges that West took her to a couch in front of a camera, strangled her, and forcibly simulated oral sex by inserting his fingers into her mouth, proclaiming, “This is art. This is f-king art. I am like Picasso.”
During the alleged assault, An struggled for air, felt close to passing out, and sought help from others on set. She is also suing Universal Music Group, claiming they failed to investigate or take corrective action, arguing that West’s profitability and influence shielded him from accountability.
An contends that West’s actions constitute second-degree strangulation, a sexually motivated felony, and assault, leaving her traumatized and suffering from humiliation, degradation, and emotional distress, which has persisted over the years.
This lawsuit adds to a series of sexual assault accusations against West. Former employee Lauren Pisciotta previously accused him of harassment and rape in October, during an encounter involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs at a music studio, which West denies.

Another accusation comes from a former staff member who alleges West acted inappropriately with his wife, Bianca Censori, during meetings.
As of November 15, West’s representatives have not responded to inquiries from The Standard regarding these allegations.
