Pakistan on Sunday condoled over the martyrdom of a Kashmiri teenager Junaid Ahmad by the Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).

The cold blooded murder of Junaid Ahmad is worst example of state terrorism of the Indian government and is indeed deplorable, the Foreign Office said in a statement.

The statement added that the government and the people of Pakistan convey their deepest condolences on the Shahadat of 12-year-old boy Junaid Ahmad in the IoK to the bereaved family.

The people of IoK are demanding their fundamental human rights especially the right to self determination in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions, it said.

The Foreign Office said that the grave situation of human rights violations in the disputed territory, growing atrocities and genocide of Kashmiris should be a matter of concern to the international community and the UN that warrants an immediate intervention to stop the bloodshed by India.

During last three months the Indian occupation forces have martyred more than 115 innocent and defenseless Kashmiris injured over 15 000 with scores in critical condition and several hundreds blinded due to use of pellet guns including children and women.

A humanitarian crisis created by the Indian occupation forces through shortage of food medicines water and other basic amenities has added to the Kashmiris plight and the casualties, the Foreign Office added. (APP)
