Inquiry report of a judicial commission, that investigated 2014 gun attack on senior journalist and anchorperson Hamid Mir in Karachi, has been released.
The commission report which consist of 41 pages stated that “We find that there was complete failure on the part of all the law enforcing agencies in the performance of their duty to properly investigate the instant case,”
Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, had formed the three-member judicial commission to probe the attack in which Hamid Mir was injured.
The inquiry commission comprised of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali (President), Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan (member) and Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman (member).
