Josh Duhamel, 52, shared insights into his testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) experience during a June 12, 2025, interview with Men’s Health Lab.
The actor credited his wife, Audra Mari, 31, as a driving force behind his decision, emphasising TRT’s role in maintaining his energy and vitality, personally and professionally.
Duhamel, who married Mari in 2022, noted, “It’s important for her that I stay as young and virile as long as I can.” After feeling less energetic than in previous years, he underwent testing, which revealed low testosterone levels. “I knew I wasn’t where I was five or ten years before,” he said, prompting him to embrace TRT despite initial hesitation to discuss it openly.

Holistic Benefits of Therapy
Beyond enhancing his relationship, Duhamel highlighted TRT’s broader impact. “There’s an overall wellness,” he explained, noting increased energy and drive. “It’s about being a better dad, brother, friend, and business owner,” he added. Duhamel shares son Axl, 11, with ex-wife Fergie (divorced 2019) and son Shepherd, 1, with Mari, and TRT helps him stay active for them.
Duhamel described TRT as transformative: “I got my mojo back.” The therapy restored his physical strength, allowing him to “roll around in the dirt” with his kids like his younger years. As co-founder of Gatlan Health, which promotes men’s vitality through holistic solutions, Duhamel’s experience aligns with the company’s mission, per Gatlan Health.
