The joint session of the Parliament was delayed Thursday as no parliamentarian turned up in the assembly hall – raising questions about their seriousness and commitment to resolve the current political crisis.
On third day, the session was scheduled to begin at 11.00 am as usual but even after half-an-hour not a single member of the parliament was present in the hall.
The session is in progress since Tuesday to discuss the political impasse that has paralyzed the state since mid-August following sit-ins by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek.
