Jemima Khan, Imran Khan’s former wife, reported an attempted break-in at her London flat a few days ago.
In a Twitter post on Tuesday afternoon, the journalist and filmmaker shared images of four men, asking the public for help identifying them. She called the police during the attempted break-in at night, and Scotland Yard has since opened an investigation and registered a report.
In the tweet, Jemima also mentioned two other men caught on camera trespassing a few weeks later during the day. However, she remains unsure if these incidents are connected or if the individuals involved are the same or different.
This is not the first time Jemima has experienced such incidents. Five years ago, British-Pakistani taxi driver Hassan Mahmood pleaded guilty to stalking her and was issued a restraining order. Despite this, he texted Jemima again last year, breaching the order. As a result, he received a suspended nine-week prison sentence for violating the restraining order against her.
Recently, Jemima has been actively promoting her hit film, ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It?’. As a screenwriter and film producer, she aims to showcase a different aspect of Pakistan to the world, highlighting the country’s beauty, color, and joy.
Despite her ties to Pakistan’s political sphere through her former marriage, Jemima has consciously avoided engaging in Pakistani politics, stating, “I need politics out of my life.”
