Jamie Foxx is set to discuss his recent health issues in his upcoming Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was.” Amid ongoing rumours and conspiracy theories, some of which suggest involvement by Sean “Diddy” Combs, Foxx has committed to addressing these speculations head-on.
Foxx recently expressed his enthusiasm for the project and gratitude for his recovery on Instagram. “I am blessed to be able to tell my story in my way. So many have prayed,” he shared.
Returning to stand-up in Atlanta for the first time in 18 years, Foxx described the filming as a profound experience. “It was like going to church… we laughed, we cried, but most importantly, we celebrated life and second chances,” he remarked.
Regarding the rumours linking Diddy to his health scare, Foxx plans to tackle these directly in his special. Audience members from the Atlanta tapings reported that Foxx discussed the rapper extensively. Videographer Choke No Joke noted Foxx’s comments about Diddy, suggesting Foxx even involved the FBI concerning Combs.
However, attendee Dennis L.A. White remembered Foxx’s tone as more humorous. “People keep asking if Diddy was responsible. He was not. If he was, I would’ve been dead,” Foxx joked during the performance.
