In the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024, Lahore Qalandars’ Jahandad Khan captured attention with aggressive batting against Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium.

A viral video highlighted Khan’s assault on the Quetta Gladiators’ bowlers, leading Lahore Qalandars to a score of 187-7 in their allocated 20 overs. Despite his efforts, the team faced a five-wicket defeat.

Sahibzada Farhan emerged as the top scorer, achieving a notable fifty. He made 62 runs off 45 balls, including six fours and three sixes.

Khan contributed significantly with a rapid 45 off 17 balls, hitting three fours and four sixes.

From Quetta Gladiators, Akeal Hosein and Mohammad Hasnain each claimed two wickets.

Khawaja Nafay’s unbeaten 60 off 31 balls, featuring four fours and three sixes, ensured Quetta Gladiators reached the 188-run target in 19.1 overs.

The team’s initial momentum was set by Saud Shakeel and Jason Roy, who scored 40 and 24, respectively.

For Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, Salman Fayyaz, and Sikandar Raza each took a wicket.
