Iulia Vantur has revealed about her relationship with Salman Khan.
The Romanian beauty, Iulia Vantur, who is rumoured to be dating Khan for some time finally broke her silence on all the link-up speculations and termed her relationship with the superstar as a friendly one and nothing more. Walking into the press meet to launch her debut Hindi album with music director Himesh Reshammiya, Miss Vantur looked absolutely comfortable while facing the barrage of cameras and arclights around. And every question on Salman was met with a smile, grace, and warmth. Had it not been for the intrusive PR managing the event, interacting with Iulia would have been even more breezy, for the lady looked extremely capable of handling and answering every sort of question without any PR interference
Answering the million dollar question about Salman and her relationship with him, Iulia told indianexpress.com, “He is a very good friend! What more can I say? He is a very good friend for everyone who meets him. He has such a good heart and he is welcoming to everyone. So you know what I think about him.”
When quizzed about rumours of her marriage with Salman, Iulia said, “As I said, we are very good friends. More than that what can I say? There is a lot of respect for him. It is because of him I met India! And I love India. I always wanted to come here since I was a kid because I used to read so many stories about India and was very fascinated. So at the right time, I reached here. And the first feeling I had when I stepped on this land was like home. The energy, the vibe of this place was so good and so welcoming. And honestly, when I left from India, I cried. I cried because I didn’t want to leave this land. But life brought me here back. So I am happy for that. There were rumours that I didn’t like India or its culture but I am telling you that’s it’s not correct. I love this place, I love the people and I am grateful to all the people I have met here.”
Iulia also spoke about her passion for music and how it was instrumental in bringing her in touch with Salman and India. Salman got hooked on after listening to her sing the Romanian version of ‘Teri Meri’, the tune of which was later on used by Himesh for the film Bodyguard. Salman, later on, introduced Himesh to Iulia’s voice and the duo collaborated to cut the album, “Aap Se Hai Mausiiquii”. However, Iulia has no plans of pursuing music professionally. “I love music and singing. But I have no plans of making a career out of it,” said Iulia. (PhotoNews / The Indian Express)
