ITV has officially postponed the premiere of Love Island: All Stars, just days before its scheduled launch, citing serious safety concerns caused by wildfires in South Africa.
The reality series was due to premiere on January 14. However, ITV confirmed that filming has been halted indefinitely after wildfires spread near the production site in South Africa’s Western Cape region. Officials said the situation posed an immediate risk to cast and crew.
According to the broadcaster, the production team was forced to evacuate the villa on Friday, January 9, as a precautionary measure. While the villa itself was not damaged, producers decided the surrounding conditions made it unsafe to continue filming.

In an official statement, ITV said health and safety remained the top priority. “Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed,” the statement read.
The series brings back popular contestants from previous seasons, including former winners Millie Court and Jess Harding. Final preparations and filming were scheduled to begin this week, but the natural disaster disrupted those plans.
