Iran has assured Islamabad that it would not allow its soil to be used against Pakistan, the Foreign Office confirmed in Islamabad earlier yesterday.
Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakariya while addressing a weekly media briefing in Islamabad has said that the government is considering an Indian request to allow consular access to RAW terrorist Kulbhushan Yadav, who was arrested in Balochistan recently.
The spokesman said that Pakistan will continue to raise Samjhota Express terrorist attack with India.
To a question he said, “India has not apprised Pakistan of progress in investigations into the train bombing.”
Zakariya said Pakistan will continue efforts to promote Afghan reconciliation process.
