Islamabad administration instructed hotels and restaurants to serve and entertain Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members and supporters visiting Islamabad for the September 8 Jalsa.

The Islamabad administration has instructed all hotels and restaurant owners in the capital city not to provide accommodation, food, or catering supplies to PTI members and supporters. The order explicitly warns that non-compliance will result in punitive action from the authorities.

This directive is part of a broader strategy to restrict the activities of PTI members and supporters within the city. The administration’s mandate for the hotels underscores a tightening of measures against the political party, which has been central to various political controversies.

Hotel owners across Islamabad have been alerted to this new regulation, which aims to curtail the logistical support PTI could mobilize through local hospitality services. The move has sparked discussions about the implications for civil liberties and the role of businesses in political disputes.
