Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has signed the death warrants of as many as six terrorists involved in terrible acts of terrorism.
The terrorists have been sentenced to death by the Field General Court Martial (FGCM), according to the Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
This action of the COAS has been done in the context of the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar by Taliban that killed at least 141 people, including mostly children.
The terrorists are likely to be hung anytime now after the signature of the COAS on the death warrants.
The legal formalities are being completed now.
The Prime Minister (PM) announced to end the moratorium on the death penalty.
