Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen have announced their separation after over two decades together, surprising fans with a joint statement.
“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” the statement read, and it was shared on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple in tennis attire.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2010, revealed they initiated divorce proceedings last year. Both renowned in their own right—Cohen for his role in “Borat” and Fisher as a star in “Wedding Crashers”—they opted for a private approach to their separation.
Details regarding the divorce filing’s location and timing remain undisclosed. “We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change,” they expressed in their announcement.
Fisher, 52, and Cohen, 48, first crossed paths at a Sydney party in 2001 and got engaged in 2004. Together, they share three children: a 16-year-old daughter, a 13-year-old daughter, and a 7-year-old son.
