Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, claims that Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) extremist group doesn’t exist in Pakistan.
Speaking to media persons after addressing Sindh Rangers’ passing-out parade in Karachi, the minister said reports suggest that there isn’t any presence of ISIS elements in the country.
Regarding the law-and-order in Karachi, the interior minister vowed that police and Rangers would continue their anti-criminal operation in the city till complete restoration of peace.
It should be pertinent to note that the Balochistan home department had issued a letter stating that around 12000 terrorists belonging to different terror outfits have flocked to the ISIL banner in Pakistan.
