Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, one of the world’s most famous YouTubers, made a shocking appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble. However, his time in the ring was short-lived, as he was brutally eliminated within minutes, leaving fans stunned.
IShowSpeed entered the ring after the elimination of Akira Tozawa, immediately making an impact by helping Bron Brekker eliminate Otis from the competition. Known for his unpredictable antics, Speed celebrated with Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration after performing a backflip in the ring.
However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Speed faced the full force of a spear from the Intercontinental Champion, followed by being thrown out of the ring. Otis eliminated moments earlier, caught Speed outside the ring but failed to cushion his landing, resulting in a rough fall onto the announce table.
Injuries and Premature Livestream End
The brutal elimination left Speed visibly shaken, and he appeared to sustain serious injuries. Backstage, he showed one of his injuries to fellow YouTuber and WWE star Logan Paul. The incident prompted Speed to end his livestream prematurely, shortening his Royal Rumble experience.
While WWE matches are predetermined, the intensity of Speed’s elimination likely surprised him despite his prior experience in the wrestling world.
Not His First WWE Appearance
This wasn’t Speed’s first encounter with WWE. The 20-year-old YouTuber had previously received an RKO from Randy Orton, who assisted Logan Paul during a previous show.
Later in the event, Logan Paul entered the ring, securing the coveted number 30 spot—the final entry in the Royal Rumble matchup. Paul’s appearance added another layer of excitement to the high-stakes event.
