Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) took his oath as Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.
Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Mazhar Alam administered the oath during a ceremony attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, federal minister Akram Khan Durrani , PML-N leader Ameer Mukam and others.
On February 8, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, also a senior leader of the ruling party resigned from the post of governor.
