Apple has released iOS 16 Beta 3 for iPhone, introducing new stock wallpapers and a refined Liquid Retina interface.
The latest beta, available now for developers and beta testers, offers more colour choices for home and lock screen wallpapers, including Shadow, Sky, Halo, and Dusk. These options stand out even more when you enable Dark Mode, providing a personalized look for your device.

The update also brings a darker appearance to the Liquid Glass user interface, particularly noticeable in the media players of Apple Music and Podcasts. This change aims to enhance legibility, responding to user feedback regarding text readability issues in earlier betas. Apple is continually refining its design language to provide a better visual experience with each release.

iOS 26 Beta 3 now centres dock icons even when there are fewer than four icons present and features subtle updates to the Files and Photos app icons. Apple has confirmed that iOS 26 will be available as a free over-the-air (OTA) update for all compatible iPhones later this year.
