Furious at the breakage of a security gate at the hands of Sikh demonstrators, Chaudhry Nisar stated this to be a grave security lapse.
Taking strict action, Nisar suspended Superintendent of Police (SP) National Assembly Habibullah Niazi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) National Assembly Khalid Wirk, DSP Bani Gala Safeer Shah and DSP Secretariat Fida Hussain. The other suspended cops include Station House Officer (SHO) Bara Kaho Sattar Shah and SHO Secretariat Abdul Rahman.

Earlier, dozens of Sikh protestors pushed past the front gate and entered the grounds of parliament, protesting against alleged desecration of their holy book.
