Indian forces continued their unprovoked firing and shelling across the Line of Control (LoC), the ISPR said in a statement issued earlier today.
According to the military’s public relations wing, Indian border forces fired shells across the border in Kailer Sector near Bagh district along the LoC Sunday night and then again on Monday morning.
The first incident of unprovoked firing took place at 11:00PM on Thursday and lasted until around 2:00AM. The episode was repeated at 9:00AM this morning.
Pakistani forces responded befittingly and silenced the Indian guns, the ISPR said. The exchange of gunfire did not cause any loss of life, added the military statement.
