An Indian couple chose Swiggy, an online food delivery service, for their engagement ceremony catering, sparking significant attention online.

An X (formerly Twitter) user who attended the event captured and shared an image of a Swiggy delivery partner arranging multiple plastic food boxes on a table under a tent.

Online food delivery platforms like Swiggy and Zomato have revolutionized dining by making various culinary choices available, from local eateries to award-winning restaurants, thus expanding customer reach for many businesses. This accessibility also adds convenience for hosting events, as demonstrated by the couple’s decision to use Swiggy instead of traditional catering services.

no one has used our Crazy Deals better than these guys 😭😭 shaadi ka khana bhi humse mangwa lena 🥰 https://t.co/XIo2z2TnYX

The shared photo quickly went viral, generating laughter and many memes and jokes across social media. It even garnered a response from Swiggy, who playfully commented, “No one has used our Crazy Deals better than these guys, shaadi ka khana bhi humse manga lena.” (Please let us deliver your wedding feast, too.)

One amused user reacted to a traditional wedding coffee machine in the setup, commenting on the couple’s prioritization and noting it as a rare sight at modern weddings.
