General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), stated on Saturday that India’s heinous schemes would never succeed and that any misadventure would be met with an appropriate response.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited frontline troops in the Rakhchikri Sector of the Line of Control (LOC).

The COAS was informed of the latest situation along the LoC and the formation’s operational readiness.

In his interactions with officers and soldiers, the army chief praised their excellent morale, professional skill, and battle readiness in the face of difficult circumstances.

Recent statements made by Indian leadership about Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, according to Gen. Asim, have been incredibly reckless.

The COAS emphasized, “Let me be very clear: Pakistan’s armed forces are always prepared to defend every inch of our motherland and take the fight back to the enemy, should war ever be imposed on us.”

He stated that any misunderstanding leading to a misadventure will always be faced with the full force of the military forces, supported by a resilient population.

“The Indian state will never fulfill her wicked goals. Therefore, the international community must uphold justice and deliver the promises made to the Kashmiri people in accordance with UN resolutions.”
