Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday vowed to bring killers of his party leader Zahra Shahid’s to the book.

Zahra Shahid – commonly known as Zara Apa – was senior vice president of PTI’s Sindh chapters. She was gunned down outside her residence in Karachi’s defence area on May 18, 2013. “Two years ago today our brave Zahra Shahid (Apa) was brutally murdered in Karachi as she returned from PTI’s protest against rigging,” imran said on Twitter, exactly two years after the assassination.

“Her strength and determination can never be forgotten. We will ensure that her killers, now in custody, are brought to justice,” he said. Three accused in the murder case, Kaleem, Rashid and Zahid Abbas, are in Rangers custody after being arrested in March this year.
