Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan earlier today said that, “he would take the issue of Panama Leaks to logical end,” vowing to lead a protest march on Raiwind if the government does not set up a panel headed by chief justice of Pakistan to investigate prime minister’s link to offshore companies.

Speaking to media before his departure to London, the former cricket hero said the rulers should not hide behind the garb of democracy. “Democracy demands accountability of leader.”

He said that the PM’s son Hussain Nawaz sold a house in London for Rs 4 billion. “Where did he get the money from?”

“If we are able to try a sitting Prime Minister, this will mark history for democracy in Pakistan.”

He said he is going to London for two charity events of the Shaukat Khanum Hospital. “But in the wake of Panama Leaks I will also talk to independent auditors who will investigate the Prime Minister’s alleged involvement in offshore companies.”

The PTI chairman said he would reveal his future course of action with regard to Raiwind march on April 24 when his party marks its 20th foundation day.

Later on,  Imran Khan and interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan boarded the same flight to London. Families of the interior minister and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif are also travelling in the PK-757 which left for London from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.

The interior minister, however, did not talk to media at the airport. According to Geo News, Imran Khan and Nisar Ali Khan are travelling two seats apart and exchanged greetings on board the aircraft.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is in London for a medical checkup and is said to have summoned his interior minister and senior PML-N leader Nisar Ali Khan there.
