Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, imprisoned in Adiala Jail, has called for a detailed report on the reasons behind the defeat in the Bajaur by-election.
In addition, Imran Khan directed the party to organize a rally in Islamabad on August 5th; the decision will be made in a meeting led by Ali Amin Gandapur.
During a conversation with party leaders in Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said, “The nation should prepare for elections, as general elections will be announced by December.”
Imran Khan has also instructed that Seemabia Tahir’s name be included in the list for reserved seats in the National Assembly. Seemabia Tahir had previously preferred not to be included in the reserved seats list due to her participation in the general elections. Imran Khan has tasked Kanwal Shauzab with ensuring that Seemabia Tahir’s name is added to the National Assembly list.
He urged the nation to prepare for another round of general elections, announcing a peaceful protest scheduled for tomorrow. The Islamabad rally on August 5th will be led by Ali Amin Gandapur, with Omar Ayub serving as the opposition leader in the National Assembly.
As confirmed by the opposition leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan, Imran Khan plans to file a petition regarding the missing CCTV footage from May 9th and March 18th.
