Information Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) berated chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and asked him to take his words back and plead forgiveness from the people on belittling them by calling them deadened and ‘a (mindless) herd of lambs and sheep’.

Sharjeel Memon addressed a press conference after reviewing the arrangements of PPP’s rally due on October 18 at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Karachi, along with Senator Saeed Ghani and other party members.

He stated that, “party workers and public are anxiously waiting for Bilawal Bhutto’s address and that there are a few people who are unable to digest the fact that PPP is going to showcase massive demonstration of their power”.

He confirmed that all relevant arrangements for the rally have also been completed.

He accused Imran Khan of creating a  culture of “insolent politics”.

Sharjeel Memon said Imran Khan should value public sentiments as the PPP will not tolerate any disparaging comments against the public.
