Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik -e-Insaf Imran Khan has opposed Pakistan’s possible military intervention in the ongoing conflict in Yemen at the behest of Saudi Arabia.
On social media site Twitter.“We already have a huge sectarian issue in Pakistan and our country has suffered enough in the last 10 yrs,”
Opposing he further tweeted that Pakistan should be playing a lead role in ‘negotiating/helping’ in peace talks rather than becoming a participant in the war.
PTI chief questioned has the country not suffered enough by participating in others’ wars.
Khan expressed his opinion a day after Islamabad said it would strongly respond to any threat to Saudi Arabia’s territorial integrity.
