Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan yesterday formally invited former Punjab Governor Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar to join his party.
Khan made his offer during his meeting with Sarwar at his Bani Gala residence, where PTI Secretary General Jahangir Tareen was also present.
PTI spokesperson said that meeting between both the two was held in a cordial environment.
Sarwar apprised Khan of the reasons due to which he tendered his resignation as the governor.
During the meeting, the PTI chairman appreciated Sarwar’s principled decision to quit the governorship.
