Imran Khan, the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has officially established the party’s political committee, appointing 14 distinguished members to serve on it.
This newly formed political committee ensures the core committee is fully updated on all decision-making processes.
The committee boasts the inclusion of notable figures such as Umar Ayub Khan, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Shibli Faraz, Ali Amin Gandapur, Asad Qaiser, Shah Farman, Khalid Khursheed, Awn Abbas Buppi, Rauf Hassan, and Hammad Azhar. Mian Aslam Iqbal, Atif Khan, Hafiz Farhat, and Sher Afzal Khan Marwat have been named as members, enriching the committee with their diverse expertise and perspectives.
It’s noteworthy that Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, also among the appointees, had previously been relieved from his role as Imran Khan’s focal person.
Before the political committee’s formation was announced, there were speculations about creating an apex committee intended to function above the core committee. This indicates strategic restructuring within PTI to streamline its operational efficiency and governance.
