After completing the examination, the attending doctors briefed senior specialists, including Dr Asim Yusuf and Dr Mirza, via conference call. Barrister Gohar was also informed of the developments.

According to the initial medical report, swelling in the affected eye has reduced, and eyesight is improving. Doctors noted that no major complications have emerged so far.
However, specialists from Shifa International Hospitals remain cautious. Although earlier reports suggested that Imran Khan might be transferred to Shifa for further care, he was not moved. Retina experts, including Dr. Aamir Awan, reportedly remained on standby but did not receive him.
One dose of the Eylea injection has already been administered. The second dose is scheduled for February 25. This opinion has been conveyed to PIMS’ CEO and retina specialist Dr. Nadeem Qureshi. For now, doctors have decided to continue with Eylea, citing positive early results.
