Imran Khan cancels trip to native Mianwali: flood affectees wait in vain

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has cancelled his visit to flood-hit areas in Mianwali district of Punjab due to bad weather today.

Khan’s visit was scheduled for today during which he was to arrive in Mianwali town to review relief and rescue activities. However, reports said, the PTI chief could not fly for Mianwali from Islamabad due to bad weather conditions.

The cancellation of visit left hundreds of flood affectees waiting for assistance.
