Imran Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), called the party’s MNAs to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) House in Islamabad on December 28.

Senior vice president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Fawad Chaudhry, stated that Imran Khan would address the MNAs via video link from Lahore’s Zaman Park and brief the plan for their resignations.

According to sources, the former premier and MNAs would discuss their strategy for resigning from the National assembly.

PTI had planned to contact NA Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf and confirm their resignations on December 22; however, the move was postponed following Governor Punjab’s denotification of Chief Minister Punjab.

Speaker @RPAPPP shall again invite PTI MNAs for verification of their resignation in pursuance of Paragraph(b)of Sub-Rule(2)of Rule 43 of Rules of Procedure & Conduct of Business in NA, 2007.
