Imran Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared on Saturday that he would lead his party’s campaign rally in Lahore on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
In today’s video speech, Imran Khan again alleged Punjab police for the death of his flogging Party worker.
‘I will lead the campaign rally to demonstrate that we are not pets,’ the former prime minister, deposed in April last year, told party aides through a link video during his speech.
This would be Imran Khan’s first announcement to lead a party rally over four months after an assassination attempt on him.
On November 3, Khan led a protest march to Islamabad to pressure the government into calling an early election when he was shot in the legs. However, the protest march was stopped in Rawalpindi, and Khan was left with serious injuries.
