Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced that his party would file a petition in the Supreme Court seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for telling lies on the floor of assembly.
Addressing the participants of Azadi March on Saturday night, Khan said that “I am not going to sit in this container and wait for Prime Minister Sharif’s resignation…. PTI is going to the Supreme Court.”
“Mr Sharif, we are not going anywhere. My decision is final, I will not go from here with your resignation,” he said.
He told the participants of “Azadi-march” that 15 constituencies were opened for vote recount and in every constituency, approximately 30, 000 to 40, 000 votes were found to be bogus.
He also shared the results of NA -128 and disclosed and said “Rigging has been established in NA-128, Lahore, in which 31, 000 votes were fake”
The visibly-angry PTI leader lashed out at JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman for making abusive remarks against women protestors.
He strongly condemned the target killing of a Shia scholar Ali Akber Kumaili in Karachi and said “We strongly condemn the murder of son of Allama Abbas Kumaili.” “This is a conspiracy to pit Shias and Sunnis against each other.”
He alleged that attempts were being made to divide the nation on sectarian and ethnic grounds. He also called upon his supporters to support those affected by rainfall and floods.
