Karachi: Sindh Home Department on Wednesday issued a notification constituting a Joint Interrogation Team (JIT) to probe Muazam Ali in Imran Farooq murder case.
The investigation team, comprising ISI, MI and Rangers officials, will be headed by FIA officer Ashfaq Alam.
According to the notification, the JIT is tasked with investigating the matter in seven days and file report to Home Department within two days of completion of the report.
Muazam Ali, one of the key suspects in 2010 murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq, was arrested by Rangers three days ago from Azizabad, Karachi.
