After suffering a hamstring injury during the Multan Test against England, Pakistan’s opener Imam-ul-Haq was sent to the hospital for MRI scans.

There are reports that the second Test match between Pakistan and England is currently being played in Multan, with England setting a goal of 354 runs for Pakistan to win. However, just before the start of Pakistan’s second innings, their in-form opener Imamul Haq was hurt.

PCB reports that Imam-ul-Haq has been transported to the hospital for MRI on a hamstring issue.

In the previous Test match, Imam-ul-Haq struck a century, but in the first innings of the current Multan Test, he was out for zero. In Imam’s absence, wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and batsman Abdullah Shafique opened Pakistan’s second innings.
