Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has threatened to march towards Raiwind after Eid, if four questions were not answered by the government.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday accused Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of having planned to win the 2018 elections, saying he would use billions of rupees he had made through corruption to purchase the polls.
He appealed to the Supreme Court to put Nawaz Sharif’s name on the ECL till the issue of Panama Papers was resolved so as to prevent him from fleeing the country.
Imran threatened Nawaz of staging a sit-in outside his Raiwind residence after Eid-ul-Azha, if he failed to give answers to his four questions (ToRs)
Imran said that influential dacoits in Pakistan always came into power and looted the country. He said that the destitute in Pakistan was unable to achieve anything. He also assailed NAB chairman for not investigating Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the Panama Leaks issue.
“Chairman NAB, you are receiving benefits from our taxes,” he said. “NAB should have questioned Nawaz Sharif after the Panama Leaks issue,” he added.
Imran said that PTI had taken to the streets since Nawaz Sharif had corrupted all the institutes of the country. He stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should take heed that the nation wanted accountability.
He urged PM Nawaz to show the copy of the letter which he used to purchase the apartments that he had bought in Park Lane. “Mian sahib claims he bought the flats in 2004, Kulsoom Nawaz claims they bought it in 1995,” he said.
Imran said that answers should be given as to how was this money sent outside Pakistan, whether through the bank or through money laundering. He also asked PM Nawaz whether he had paid taxes on that wealth or not.
“I know the answers to these four questions and so does Mian sahib,” he said. “We want the answers to these four questions otherwise, after Eid, we will turn towards Raiwind,” he added.
Imran also called for Nawaz Sharif’s name to be included in the ECL so that he could not escape from the country
