Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, Pervaiz Rashid said yesterday that Imran Khan was indulging in the ‘politics of unrest’ and defying the supremacy of both the judiciary as well as the Parliament.
“The allegations that Imran Khan has leveled against the government hold no water”, the minister said while talking to the media.
He added that when Nawaz Sharif delivered his victory speech on the night of May 11, 2013, the result of almost 120 constituencies had been out and the candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were winning, he added.
He said it was clear on the election day that the PML-N was on its way to winning a thumping majority.
“On the evening of the same day, Pakistan People’s Party anticipating victory was also reveling in Sindh, whereas Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was doing the same thing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , he added.
